Welcome to Realm,

The only place where our group’s artwork will touch. Despite the uncertainty of the last two semesters, our Multi Media Event class worked collaboratively to reimagine the outcome of this year-long class and project. Within this website we present our work together in one domain. Through the creation of these five collections, each artist has made a space and context of their own - exploring ideas of imagined worlds, false realities, alternative routes, and magic in the everyday. Though we’ve been physically separate during this time, the intimate nature of this small group blurred the lines of our different worlds, leading us further into each other's territories. Our collections have given us a much needed sense of autonomy over the spaces we have existed in this past year. This unusual time challenged us to be more independent in our practices as we delved into every aspect of the making, proving to ourselves how capable we are. We extend a special thanks to our collaborating graphic designers Hannah Ahn and María Sánchez, whose ability to envision this special website helped to create a place where an experience still happens.
